Seeing Hands Rwanda is more than just a massage therapy center — it is a social movement rooted in compassion, professionalism, and empowerment. Founded in 2017 by massage therapist and beautician Beth Gatonye, Seeing Hands Rwanda offers high-quality massage services delivered by women with visual impairments who have been expertly trained in massage therapy.

At our core, we believe in transforming touch into opportunity. Through the art of massage, our therapists don’t just soothe tired bodies — they uplift lives, restore dignity, and create brighter futures.

Beth started this initiative after witnessing the extreme marginalization of women with visual impairments in Rwanda. With limited job opportunities and societal exclusion, many of these women were unable to meet even their most basic needs. Seeing Hands Rwanda was born to rewrite that story, creating a safe, professional, and empowering workplace where these women can thrive.

Today, we are proud to be one of the few wellness centers in Rwanda that is truly inclusive, accessible, and professionally operated by women with disabilities — women whose hands speak the language of healing.

Our therapists undergo:

✔️ Specialized training in anatomy, hygiene, and client care

✔️ Practical experience in working with diverse clients

✔️ Instruction in ethical service delivery and workplace professionalism
